Want to Write For Us?

Easy History is opening its doors to fresh new voices! If you have something interesting to say about history and want it to be read by a wide audience, then Easy History is here for you! Do you want to write about the English Civil War? Or perhaps, the history of the city of Mocha and the invention of the coffee-chocolate drink mocha? Maybe, you’re interested in the Medieval Middle East and have something to say about the Cairo Geniza? Whatever it is, as long as it’s historical, it’s welcome on Easy History. There are no limitations on topic – whatsoever!

You could send a short proposal (between 250 and 500 words) to easy.history.blog@gmail.com! Please be sure to include your name and level of education. If you have any links to anything you’ve written previously, be sure to send that in too. This is best advised if you want to send us a document of your writing sample or if you want to send us a longer pitch.

Note: Submissions are open to people of all backgrounds and at all levels of education – however, we will prioritise undergraduates and those studying at a Master’s level.

Note: We will inform you of format, word-limit etc. if your proposal is accepted.
