About Us
History is complex. It is made up of intricacies – people, events and dates scattered over centuries and across hundreds of miles that influence each other to shape our world. Its study is informed by decades of work, with each book, article and opinion piece building upon this ever expanding library. For many, history is also a fascination – after all, what is history in the public consciousness if not “our story”? Unfortunately, much of this work, and consequently, much of the tools needed for the proverbial layman to access “our shared story” on anything more than a surface level, is locked behind paywalls, journals no one reads, jargon and academic haughtiness. To provide a viable route around that roadblock is the mission of Easy History.

If you have something interesting to say about history and want it to be read by a wide audience, then Easy History is here for you! Whatever it is, as long as it’s historical, it’s welcome on Easy History. There are no limitations on topic – whatsoever!

Note: Submissions are open to people of all backgrounds and at all levels of education – however, we will prioritise undergraduates and those studying at a Master’s level.
